Memorial Day 2010

Troy had to work this Memorial Day weekend, so I went to visit Liv and Russell in Fairhope for a nice, relaxing weekend. They just bought such a cute house near downtown Fairhope. Fairhope is the cutest town! All of the shops and landscaping make it a beautiful place to live. And the fact that it's bayside doesn't hurt, either!

I arrived early on Saturday morning around 9:30 and we packed up and went to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach for a day on the boat. The weather was beautiful until around 6, when it started storming. We packed up and ate at a little seafood restaurant somewhere near Fairhope.

Sunday morning, Liv and I took Cokers for a long walk to the bay. They live about 1.5 miles from the water. Then we went into Spanish Fort/Malbis and watched "Sex in the City 2". Since we are now in our thirties, we then went shopping at Hancock's! We got some cute fabric and Olivia showed me how to work the sewing machine! We made a lime square table cloth and a pillowsham. She finished up her curtains. Later that night, we went to the park where the Baldwin Pops Orchestra was playing in a Memorial Day concert. It was so nice!

I departed Monday morning after stopping at Belk to buy four new pairs of shoes and some pillows. I could have shopped longer, but Coco was burning up in the car (I did park in the shade and I got her water from Chic-Fil-A). So we headed back to the exciting town of Greenville!
